So I downloaded the latest version 4.0.1 and installed to a fresh copy of FSX:SE. World terrain comes up and connects to the sim and shows my correct location. I attempt to move, slew, fly to look around and I got a blotched out repeating pattern that doesnt appear to even be the default tiles. If I had to guess my guess would be that it partially loaded a tile but is using that repetitively to fill the area. I attached a screen shot of slewed up above KDFW which is a major metroplex. I even tried it over KJFK and got waterway repeating patterns.
This is on Win 10, on 100Mbps Connection so shouldn't be even close to tapping that out.
Anyone able to provide some insight on this as I would really like to get this to work before the trial expires.
Steven

@stalbottp972: I bet if you start to fly around Dallas rather than slewing, the tiles will start to load normally. I suggest you change the map mode to satellite view to get an idea of what the terrain should look like. And make sure to use the highest zoom level possible (18).
