Hi,
I just moved my P3D installation to a fast SSD and also want to do the same with WT folders. Can I move the WTscenery folder to a new drive without reinstalling WT? Is there a cfg file somewhere maybe that I could just edit to give a new path for the folder? Would be nice to have an option somewhere to change this.
Another question is about the high resolution textures setting. The manual says it should be turned off in P3D v4. Why is that? I wanted to turn it on recently but then I realised it might be a problem with WT. Would be nice to use ultra high res textures when not using WT, but then I always have to turn it on and off in the settings.
Thanks!

Hello, It is rather recommended to reinstall but if you know how to do it and are careful you can change a registry key. The key name is : Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Hush-Software\World_Terrain\World_Terrain_Path
It contains the Path to the scenery directory. Do not forget to copy the content of the directory to the new location.
Regarding high resolution texture, the setting was disabled in World Terrain because is primary use is for aircraft texture but affects World Terrain without actually improving it. It seemed a good compromise you make look at again in next version.
Enjoy your flights!

Thank you, in the end I just reinstalled it, mostly because I realized I did not have the latest version installed anyway. But I'll keep the registry key in mind also. The high res texture I think also affects ground texture as well, that's why I wanted to turn it on since my rig could handle it. But I understand the reason, I'll then manually enable or disable it depending on if I use WT or not. Can you detail a bit how it affects WT? Should I expect odd behaviour or textures if I leave high res textures on?
